Graffiti and Grunge

The city of Bristol has a reputation for its large-scale, outdoor art in the form of large mural’s often on buildings and walls. Over recent years the dirty, working area in the centre that was once docks has been transformed into a tidy and clean tourist friendly area. But Bristol, like many other cities, has a darker side, a side less tourist friendly were graffiti abounds and where litter is commonplace. The aim of this project was to capture the essence of those darker area’s, warts and all, as a record of its time.
